Having read the Problem and Solution pages you may now be wondering how you should proceed. We suggest the following.

You probably have a Fire Service Engineer contracted to deal with your fire extinguisher requirements. You should ask him how he disposes of the foam from your extinguishers when he discharges them. If the answer is that he discharges to ground or down any drain then action should be taken to correct this situation immediately.

You can ask him to contact Foamclean direct, or you can pass on his details to us and we will contact him. The perfFECTTM system will be made available to him to deal responsibly with your extinguisher foam on your behalf.

This will involve a nominal annual cost to you, the extinguisher owner. This will ensure that the spent foam is treated via a recognised cleaning process. You will have played your part and your contractor and Foamclean will do the rest.
